Throughout the school year, UpLift Austin organizes volunteer CommUnity Days in which adults visit the campus to assist the students with their green school projects. UpLift has received over 200 volunteers on such days from community groups, churches, universities and local companies. Volunteer days typically fall on Saturday mornings and UpLift Austin provides refreshments. Past volunteer days have included such projects as painting murals, light construction, gardening and landscaping.
