Right now, we are asking for YOUR HELP to make the student's green school projects COME TO LIFE! Please DONATE NOW and help us reach our goal of $7,500 to purchase the necessary materials and tools to complete these projects. All funds support projects at KIPP Austin Collegiate.

Spring 2011 | KIPP Program
UpLift is half way through our second year at KIPP Austin Collegiate, where over 335 students have enrolled in the program over the past year! Students are now ready to begin project design and implementation! Spring project ideas include:

• Transform an existing outdoor seating area into a functional classroom and lounge, incorporating modular furniture..
• Create an intentional student pathway, incorporating signage, benches and raised garden beds.
• Enliven the inside of the new school building, utilizing bright colors and public art.
• Design and build an artistic privacy fence to conceal views of hazardous mechanical equipment.

From January-May, students will work with architects, artists and sustainability professionals to design and implement these projects, utilizing recycled materials where possible and promoting a healthy and green school. The semester will culminate in a CommUnity Presentation and Celebration on May 13!
